2 Down 1 To Go!

Hi all, well I have made it thru 2 very sad and very hard funerals Saturday, was my 46 year old college friend and as hard as the funeral itself was I didn't even attend the "reception" afterwards because it was a long ride home and I was very tired from all the tears I had shed.  Today was my husbands Grandmother... The one I think I was dreading the most... His family is very good at the "party" or family gathering thing! We started at 8 am with a quick breakfast at McDonalds! UGH... I was good! I had a breakfast burrito... and they basically tore it apart to get the egg and sausage out of it. I did eat part of the "shell". Then on to the funeral service and then to the cemetery. After that we headed back to the church for the "reception"! OMG I was so freaking nervous! All of his family, who are all fit as a fiddle. and I don't think have ever had a weight problem. And of course I haven't told any of them about my new way of life and my journey to lose weight... Again I am actually proud of myself for what I PASSED UP!!! I chose deviled eggs, cheese, turkey & ham slices and a spoon full of baked beans! I was so full!!! I think I did good, don't you? Well I am off to support group meeting and then a chorus rehearsal. One more funeral tomorrow for the pastor who married me and DH... another sad occasion however, I will not be staying for the reception so... Thank God my eating will be back on track!

I am so sorry about all that you are going through right now. And I thought my DH and I were going through a lot!!

Hopefully things will start to get better soon! I too am a very emotional person and can cry at the simplest of things! Whether they be sad or happy!!

I noticed in your post on Friday, you were asking BG how you can tell if she has posted a new post, so you can go to it right away. I haven't seen it explained to you yet, so I will try to walk you through it.

Now it is a long explanation, so I will not do it here in my comment. If you are interested, you can go to my blog & I will post the directions in a comment for today's post titled "It Was Bound To Happen Eventually".
